Ingredient List & Purpose
Pupzelle treats are made with a short list of familiar, human-grade ingredients. We believe you should know exactly what you’re giving your dog, and why each ingredient is there.

Flour
Flour forms the base of each Pupzelle cookie, giving it structure and a light, crisp texture similar to a traditional pizzelle.
We use flour simply because it works. No alternative starches or fillers added.
Anise
Anise is a classic ingredient in traditional Italian pizzelles and gives Pupzelle their distinctive aroma.
Many dog owners recognize anise as an ingredient often used in training and scent work due to its strong, appealing scent. Dogs tend to enjoy it, which is why it has been part of our family recipe for decades.
Eggs
Eggs help bind the dough and add natural richness.
They also contribute protein and allow us to bake Pupzelles without relying on preservatives or stabilizers.
Sugar
A small amount of sugar is used as part of the traditional pizzelle recipe.
Pupzelles are treats, not meal replacements, and sugar is used sparingly to help achieve the classic texture and flavor dogs enjoy.
Canola Oil
Canola oil prevents sticking during baking and helps create a crisp finish.
We use it for consistency and baking reliability. Nothing more, nothing hidden.
What We Don’t Use
Pupzelle treats are made without:
Artificial flavors
Artificial colors or dyes
Fillers
Preservatives
Xylitol
Mystery ingredients you can’t pronounce
If it’s not listed above, it’s not in the cookie.
